Room for_ talking
Workshop: Awareness is awesome - Why mindfulness is also important at university!
Unfortunately, border violations, discrimination and violence are still part of everyday life for many people and also for many students. The concept of awareness is about sensitizing for such situations and looking for strategies for action. With our workshop we want to clarify what awareness is, in order to be able to enter the topic together. It is important to consider how we can create more awareness in our everyday life and at the university.
Target group: Students and staff
Speakers: Antonia Brückner and Chris Tischer from the [kju] queer_feministisches Kollektiv Halle
Time: 10:00 - 13:00

Workshop: Awareness in everyday life and at events
In the workshop on the topic of awareness, we will begin by clarifying the conceptual basis of the topic and the forms of discrimination. Subsequently, we will look at the social tension between transgression, encroachment and intervention that awareness work deals with.
deals with. In the practical part we will deal with the perception of and dealing with boundaries and the conception of an awareness team.

Anti-Bias Impulses
Workshop for a discrimination-sensitive university
The workshop does'nt take place. We are sorry.
Workshop: Prejudice-free - is that even possible?!
In the offered seminar we work on the basis of the anti-bias approach on the development of a prejudice-conscious view on everyday processes. Together we try to make the mechanisms behind discrimination visible, to reflect on our own positions and to question the self-evidence of our own privileges. On this basis, it is possible to come to a responsible handling of one's own position of power and to remain and become capable of acting in everyday life.
The offer would like to sensitize above all majority privileged people for the topic and talk about basics of the topic discrimination.
It is important to us that all participants feel comfortable and can share their experiences. Unfortunately, due to the trainer's own social positioning, the workshop can only provide a limited protected space or empowerment.
Target group: Students and employees
Speaker: Franziska Blath

Countering Sexism, Misogyny and Anti-Feminism - An Empowerment Workshop
Whether in the family or professional environment, in circles of friends or on the way to the supermarket - FINTA* are constantly confronted with anti-feminist, sexist or misogynist1 actions and therefore have to react to them. In this workshop, various strategies of (self-)care, resistance strategies and empowerment will be discussed and tested in a space that is as safe as possible. Whether ranting, getting help, ridiculing, arguing, being allowed to be aggro.... - we want to consider: How can I act in which situation? What is possible for me? What does solidarity mean in this context? We also talk about what exactly sexism, antifeminism and misogyny is and what we can do against it. We are aware that FINTA* can also be accomplices of the patriarchy, which means that they can also behave in a sexist, misogynistic and antifeminist way. We would like to talk about this in the workshop.
1 We understand misogyny as a practice that structures society, that
devalues everything that is heteronormatively considered non-masculine. This includes
trans- and homophobia.
Target group: Students and staff, FINTA* only

Workshop: Knowing boundaries, recognizing boundaries, acknowledging boundaries
The workshop is about own limits and the limits of others. What makes me and others feel good? How do I recognize, ask for and communicate boundaries in intimate relationships? What if desires and boundaries are not compatible? What forms of violence occur in intimate relationships and how do I want to deal with them: as a victim, bystander or perpetrator? With this workshop, we would like to provide an impetus for further discussion of sexualized violence.
The workshop is aimed at people regardless of gender and sexual orientation. To ensure a safe space, questions and needs can be clarified with the moderator team Karla (vaneska20@gmail.com) and Krischan (krischan.oberle@gmail.com). Feel free to contact us.
Target group: Students and employees
Speaker: Krischan Oberle and Karla Vanessa Romero Mora

Workshop: "Was there something?" - Perceive & set personal boundaries! - Exchange of experiences and discussion of different aspects of crossing boundaries in everyday working life.
The starting point of this workshop is the sensitization for the diversity of personal borders. Many borders and also border crossings are or remain invisible. What situations arise from this and what possibilities are there for action?
In doing so, we will shed light on aspects such as role, power and gender relations as well as social dimensions. Elements from conflict analysis as well as experiential and body-oriented methods for adopting perspectives are used.
My background: Cis man, focus on civil conflict transformation, non-violent conflict transformation
