Information, Counseling and Support

Equal Opportunities Officers are contact persons when it comes to discrimination because of gender (sexism), sexualised harassment and violence and mobbing.

They provide support, indormation, counseling and company for concerned persons and other supporters.

Furthermore they engage in prevention and support people who work with these topics.

Equal Opportunities Officers inform, provide advice and support with equality relevant concerns.

We inform you individually (face to face or by mail/letter) plus our website, by mail or at events.

Conversations and counseling can be held in every current format (telephone, online, present). They are always confidential and to a certain point anonymous. They are oriented at your concerns and without your approval there won´t be any further steps taken.

For that every member of MLU (staff, students, others), people who are interestes in studying and external persons can come forward to us every time.

If your topic is equality relevant can be discussed together. When in doubt, please come to us anyway.

Consultation hours:

Mo-Fr, 8am to 3 pm.

For a personally talk please contact us by mail or telephone. We also try to faciliate meetings out of counseling hours which suits everyone.

Discrimination because of gender (sexism), sexualised assault and violence and mobbing are deep violations of humans safety and dignity.

It can lead to serious consequences for sufferers. Furthermore it harms science and society and can cause negative consequences for the facilities in which they took place.

Sexism, sexualised aussault and violence are to be faught - preventitive and through consequent and sensitive reactions.
